  2. Motorcade-a Procession of Vehicles and the March of Pilgrims Processions in honor of Christ the King are an important feature of Catholic culture. They are a world-wide custom going back to our Jewish roots. Catholic processions are a form of pilgrimage first undertaken by the Jews to represent important historical events. Catholics have developed many processions for special occasions to remind us that the Christian life is a constant movement toward God with Christ leading us on to our eternal home. Similarly, we will have a motorcade, a procession of vehicles which will serve as our march and pilgrimage to meet our King.
