  2. Hello!!! • We’re the Farians. We’ve been searching through the Universe in order to investigate whether there are any other beings out there different from us. Ourgoalis to learn from them and at the same time teach them . • The planet we come from is inhabited by two races: us- the Farians and the Lemians. The Lemians, however, only want to play and have fun... everything but learning. They even can’t read or write... . • That’s why we are on our way to find a planet whose inhabitants want to learn...

  3. Wait a second..., our navigators have spotted something... It’s a small blue planet lit by just one star. Its name is the Earth. We’re ready to land.

  4. After two days... • Our spaceship landed in Poland, in a place called Częstochowa. In fact it was an area that belongsto Queen Jadwiga Primary School No.29. • This is the report written after visiting the school...

  5. Primary School No. 29 is a non-profit educational institution. At the moment, 380 children attend the school, aged from 7 to 13. • It is one of the best primaries in the city of Częstochowa as well as in the Silesia voivodship.

  6. The school is opened from Monday to Friday. Students learn Polish, Maths, Science, History, Art, Music, Religious Studies, Technology, Information Technology, Physical Education. They are taught English as a foreign language. This is the entrance to the school.

  10. After entering the school you see the following view:

  11. Lessons last 45 minutes from 8.00 to 16.20. During the breaks students talk and have fun on the corridors as well as outside when it’s warm.

  12. Those are locker rooms. The notice above says: SMILE

  13. Pupils do not have breaks all the time- they also attend classes . Grades IV to VI have different classes with different teachers. This is a photo taken during a History lesson.

  14. English lessons take place in this classroom. All desks are arranged in the U-shape.

  15. On the contrary to their older friends, grades I to III are taught all subjects by the same teacher. Is it the same in other parts of the world?

  16. The younger pupils have breaks depending on their needs. In the photos, however, they’re in the middle of doing some tasks.

  17. On the premises there is a library,

  18. a multimedia library,

  19. a computer room

  20. and a common room, where pupils eat their meals,

  21. play or do their homework while waiting for their parents.

  22. In the school there is also a very important room called ‘Secretariat’- it is a place where women who work there help the headteachers to manage the school.

  23. But the school is not just learning… it’s also a place full of cultural life. Here are some of the photos from the events celebrated in the school. • The REGIONAL DAY

  24. The students give a special performance in church

  25. The Primary school No.29 is full of life. The photos are just a mere example of what you can see there. The best thing is to come and visit it by yourself. • Conclusions: • We’ve learnt a lot... • we didn’t have time to teach the human beings anything ... now we’re leaving the planet. • Plans for the future? • We’ll certainly set up a school on our planet like the one we’ve seen in Poland. Maybe then, our friends will start learning more willingly…
