  9. Remark: In the Danube coding: “CA” for canal and “BF for bifurcation also used

Conclusions: • A fixed length (25 places) of the hydrological feature code (one attribute field) is proposed; Code segments also given in separate fields (H, S, I, C, P, E, L) • “CCCCC” segment with zeroes backwards • “12xP” segment with zeroes backwards • First two positions of a code (“H”, “S”) and “CCCCC” segments are predefined on European level (in GIS g.) • “II”, “12P”, “EE” and “LL” segments are defined by countries • update of ECRINS, LARGE RIVER, GIS guidance nedeed in regard to H, S and C elements • Description of II coding needed
