Art Museum • In the early 1950’s,a group of artist formed the Riverside Art Association. • The building which was built in 1929, is located at the corner of Mission Inn Avenue and Lime Street. • This building is very special because the famous architect, Julia Morgan, designed it for the YWCA. • In 1967 they bought the YWCA building to use it as an art center because they needed more room.

  3. City Hall • The old City Hall is located at Seventh and Orange street. • The new building was dedicated on October 6, 1975, and is located between Ninth and Tenth street. • The old city hall is an historical landmark because of its beautiful architecture. • The new city hall’s modern uses arches to symbolize Riverside’s Spanish and Mexican heritage.

  4. Lincoln Memorial • The Lincoln Memorial is in Washington D.C. • The Abraham Lincoln statue is 19-feet (5.8-meters). • They built the Lincoln Memorial, because they honor him.
