The graphite mould is a purpose made mould shaped as per the size, dimensions and type of the joint that has to be made. The welding powder is poured into the mould after aligning the conductors inside the mould. After well fixing of the conductors that are to be joint, the mould is held tightly using a mould holding clamp. Then a flint gun is utilized to ignite the weld powder which will further initiate a chemical reaction inside the mould. This method does not require any external heating provision. The reaction melts the weld powder which on cooling will produce exothermically welded connection. This is a quick and long-term fix upheld for every electrical safety works.
