  8. What are the TVPs? Technical Vice Presidents • Represent Societies & Divisions on the NLC • Three TVPs and one Senior VP-Technical • Serve 2-year terms • Two off, two on every year • Set policy for all technical groups • Provide guidance and representation on issues requiring BOT approval

Region Vice Presidents • Represent professional & student chapters on the NLC • 8 RVPs, 1 VPSD • Serve 2-year terms • Serve as the primary communications link (two-way!)between chapters and IIE leadership • Serve as the primary resource for ideas and assistance for better chapter operations

NLC Mission • The Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) Networking Leadership Council, in partnership with the IIE staff, develops policy and provides oversight, guidance, support, strategic direction, and leadership development for the effective operation of chapters, societies, divisions, and interest groups (SDIG). The NLC enables chapter and SDIG leadership to provide value to the IE profession and members of the Institute. We support the IIE Board of Trustees and are the voice of the membership.

  13. NLC Vision • The NLC will be the primary voice of the membership of IIE. We will be recognized by the BOT and leadership of the Chapters and SDIGs for outstanding leadership development and service.
