  3. Rules and Expectations • Rules: • Only 1 Rule… “Respect” • The classroom • The teacher • Your classmates • HORNETS Expectations: • No food or gum • No playing with water bottles • No book bags or oversized “purses” • NO “Slides” or flip-flops • Bring Agenda everyday!

  4. Gateway Year • CMS Requirements for Promotion: • Class-work / Preparation • 70% or above in LA, Math, Science, Social Studies, Health/PE, and one other elective • Score at or above III on state EOG in Reading, Mathematics, Science

MAKE-UP WORK POLICIES • Absent students • excused or unexcused • expected to collect missing assignments from their teachers • on their first day back in class. • Will have TWO days • For each day absent to turn in assignments • Receive full credit. • If not in after 2 Days… • Considered LATE • Can be turned in w/in 2 weeks • Max score 80% • Not turned in… • Max score 0% • Not Absent • 1-5 Days Late • Max score 80% • 14 Calendar Days Late is a Permanent Zero!!!
