In this presentation at the Cambridge Press Conference, Klare Shaw discussed the Culture for Change (CfC) initiative, aimed at empowering youth aged 11-21 through arts and social change. Over two residency periods from 2008 to 2010, 325 youth engaged in high-quality artistic expression, leadership development, and community involvement across 26 organizations in Boston. By fostering self-expression and providing resources and training, CfC enabled participants to voice their beliefs and tackle real-world issues. Join us in understanding how arts can be a catalyst for youth empowerment and community development.
