Physical features • The blue whale is a mammal just like a person. • A blue whale is usually 82 to 105 feet long and can weigh about 200 tons!!! • Blue whales are a bluish-gray color sometimes they have some white on their their skin. • The blue whale has a little bit of hair and is the biggest animal on earth

  3. Lifespan A blue whales average lifespan is 80 to 90 years. And yes a blue whale is endangered.

  4. Blue whales are found in every ocean but the Arctic. • When it gets cold the blue whale migrates to the warmer waters. Their Habitat

  5. Blue whales are one of the loudest animals on earth they can hear each other from 1,000 miles away! • Blue whales aren’t only loud they have great hearing. Behavior

  6. Food prey predator • A blue whale is a carnivore it eats meat. • Its main diet is krill. • A blue whale eats 200 tons of krill every day! • A blue whales predator is a person! • I would never eat a whale!!!

  7. Babies • Blue whales have live birth just like humans do. • At birth the blue whale babies weigh 3 tons.

  8. Physical Adaptations • A blue whales tail has flukes so it can swim. • And a blue whale uses its flippers to steer.

  11. Fun Facts • A scientific name for a blue whale is balaenopteramusculus. • A blue whales heart weighs as much as a small car!!! • A blue whales tongue is so long it can hold 50 people!!!
