Origin of the Project • Originally intended to help organize golf outings for the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) department of the Yamaha Motor Company • Events typically ranged from 12 to 30 attendees • Keeping up with scores and attendance was proving difficult with pen and paper • Our application solves these problems.

  9. Further Business Opportunities • Our application has potential far beyond the ME department of the Yamaha Motor Company • With slight modifications, our application could be licensed to country clubs and other golf courses of any size. • Members or even course owners could create and manage golf outings and tournaments with any number of players.
