  10. Why is muscular endurance important for badminton? For effective performance you need to be able to repeatedly: • move forward to the net and to the back corners of the court • reach up to play overhead shots and down to return smashes and drop shots • return to base between shots.

  11. Why is muscular endurance important for badminton? • If your muscles become tired you will move more slowly. • This will mean you arrive late to play the shuttle and your returns are not as effective. • You will start to make more errors. • Your level of performance will drop.
