This experiment demonstrates how the center of gravity shifts when using water in soft drink cans. Start by filling one can with 100 mL of water and handing your friend the empty can to balance on its rim. Meanwhile, you balance your own filled can without them knowing. As they struggle to keep their can upright, yours will balance perfectly due to the water's ability to move the center of gravity above the balance point. This fun demonstration reveals the principles of balance and gravity in a surprising way.
