Career & Technical Education Vocational Programsall programs require an online application & have Feb. 1st deadlines(addt’l info & brochures found online at www.pwcs.edu (Schools -> All Schools & Programs -> Program Descriptions-> CTE)) Automotive Technology Where: Hylton HS Grades: 10, 11, & 12 • student must apply, be accepted & transfer to Hylton Cosmetology (2 yr program) Where: Woodbridge HS Grade: 10 • student must apply & be accepted; students are transported from Forest Park every other day to Woodbridge –seats are limited Culinary Arts (2 yr program) Where: Potomac HS Grade: 10 • student must apply & be accepted; students are transported from Forest Park every other day to Potomac –seats are limited Heating, Ventilation & AC (HVAC) Where: NVCC, Woodbridge Campus Grades: 11 & 12 • student must apply & be accepted; HVAC program is dual-enrolled with NVCC; students are transported from Forest Park to NVCC – seats are limited Practical Nursing (2 yr program) Where: Osbourn Park HS Grade: 12 • student must apply & be accepted; students take bus to OP in morning and are transported to Forest Park to complete core classes Project Lead the Way: Pre-Engineering Where: Woodbridge HS (2 yr program) Grade: 10 • student must apply & be accepted; students are transported from Forest Park every other day to Woodbridge –seats are limited
