Environment • Snurtles live in the New Zealand rainforest. The bark there is very smooth so that the snurtle(s) can slither up a tree if in danger. It is very damp there.
Structures • A snurtle has a shell, snake head, and tail. The shell helps the snurtle so that the snurtle can hide in it. A snurtle is a vertebrate and they lay their eggs in water. It moves by slithering and breathes through its lungs.
