O&G Drs Office Hours Sessions Guideline Dedicated/Protected Institutional Sessions* A- teaching/admin/research/ B- subsidized care clinics C- dedicated sessions pertaining solely to 24hr clinic, LW, prison clinics etc D- subspecialty/special interest sessions as defined by respective subspecialty heads Institutional duties like Ward Rounds, Specialty rounds, Audits (eg CS audit, gynae audit, HRC, BDC, Tumour Board), and labour ward rounds with consultant coverage (while in clinic) not considered as dedicated institutional sessions but will be accounted for in appraisals by HOD/Div Chair. After Office hours private sessions are also reviewed by HOD/Div Chair with considerations to capacity of doctors to effectively perform institutional duties/sessions and to have work-life balance. The above is a guideline and various other considerations may be taken to account by Div Chair.
