  2. Biographical Information • Jack Gantos was born in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania on July 2, 1951. Today he lives in Boston, Massachusetts. When he was younger, he attended some British schools. He also went to Emerson College. His most important family are his wife and daughter. An award he won is the Newbery Honor. He went to prison for driving a boat full of drugs for $10,000. He started writing in prison.

  4. Joey pigza swallows the key • The genre of Joey Pigza Swallows the Key is humor. The setting is at his school and home. The characters are Joey Pigza, Mom, Grandma, Mr. Ed Vanness, Maria, and other teachers. The plot or problem is Joey has bad meds and is crazy so he accidently cuts off Marias nose. The solution is they have Joey go to a Special Ed school. My opinion is that people who like funny books would like this book but I didn’t really like this book.

  5. Dead End in norvelt • The genre of Dead End in Norveltis realistic fiction. The characters are Mom, Dad, Jack, Bunny, and Miss Volker. The setting is at his house and his neighborhood. The plot is that he had a nose bleeding problem. The conclusion is that he went to the doctors and took high quality medicine. My opinion is that this book is really good and very interesting.
