  1. Top 5 Tactics that You Should Know to Win any Soccer Game Being a coach for children’s football can sometimes be exhausting and confusing; the responsibility is immense on the coach. Besides, being aware of all the essentials of the game, the coach needs to have personal styles in case should the tactics fail to be effective against the opponents. It is a common fact that every soccer team has certain stratagem or plan of attack that they use it when necessary. These strategies varies greatly from team to team. But in the end, it gets branched from the main theme. Let us look at the various kinds of tactics that can benefit your team:

  2. 1. Charge from the back- This is a popular strategy employed by majority football training academy at every level of the game. This kind of attack happens from the back that consists of short, intricate passing. There is a swift movement from the defenders that go to the middle of the field or even beyond. Overloading the midfield area with skilfull players is the key to success. Such players should be capable enough to hold the ball for a while before quickly passing to the teammates. 2. Counter attacking- This stratagem is considered to be the most destructive one in youth soccer. Usually, coaches who impart football training for kids, do not pay much emphasis on this technique. When you snatch the ball from your opponent and attack with great speed, it is then said to be a counter attack. The opposition lands on the ball straightaway on the pitch while the players move forward, leaving a gap behind. The main motive is to take away the ball from the opposition. 3. The high press- The ulterior formula for this strategy is that the higher you are up against the pitch and get the ball, the shorter distance you have to travel to score a goal. With this technique, winning back the ball quickly is possible; also the players can prevent the opposition from creating goals or having the ball. The main aim is not to allow the opposition to lay their hands on the ball. What makes this move a fun act is that the whole team chases the opposition and compels the to commit a mistake! It has been observed that most of the children enjoy performing this technique on the field and derive interest in playing soccer as well. 4. The long ball- This strategy is again a fun one. Here the player sends the ball upward, high in the sky from deep positions towards the striker. The striker takes down the ball and immediately starts an attack. This is also known as ‘anti-soccer’ and is not much acknowledged by the coaches in any premier soccer academy in Bristol. Nevertheless , these tactics can be put to use occasionally. 5. Attack from wide areas- Having a fast player is surely an advantage. But with a fast player, fast thinking is also essential. Utilizing the fast player at the right time is the key to success. The players must attack the small goals for quick points. To make attacks from wide areas a success, the coach has to restart the session, any 2 players move to the central zone, the players can move to other zones if the center zone is blocked and lastly the player in the wide zone makes the decision of scoring a goal. Conclusion- Being aware of the right tactics to be employed by the young players on the field is important. The coach must discuss the various suitable on-field tactics so that winning the game in a healthy way is far easier.
