  1. Role of Carbs in Fitness & Health! When we talk about carbs-rich diet, there comes fundamental misunderstanding of what carbs actually are, how important they are for our body, and how to eat them. Reaching the peak performance during physical activity, carbs play a very vital role. They are the main source of energy for our body, especially our central nervous system – brain and spinal cord. Including consistent amounts of carbs in your diet is really very important, and choosing the quality carbs for your diet is must. Why consistent amount of carbs have been referred here is because eating a ton of carbs at one meal and no carbs the rest of the day will make the liver to release extra sugar into your bloodstream. This will adversely impact your physical performance and will increase the risk factor of developing diabetes. When watching out to your weight, 45 g per meal carbs is more than enough. But when we talk about athletes or bodybuilders, this ratio goes closer to 60 g per meal as they are exercising multiple times during the week. And it is very important to eat carbs-rich diet before going for an intense workout for a balanced drill. The carbs-rich diet generally includes grains, fruits, milk, yogurt and vegetables. Choose wisely! So, people eat carbs-workout well-stay fit-be happy!
