1. Recruiting Your Staff Blake Prichard OK. So I am the Assistant Course Director for this Conference. I have been on this staff a couple of times. My Wood Badge course was NE-IV-180 in the Spring of 2006. I have had many jobs in Scouting, the most recent was Council President for Chester County Council. I still serve on the Executive Board and Committee, and like you, do about ten other things.
But right now, I want to help you choose your team. When I was a kid, we played baseball every day in the Summer. It was in Bob Kawalskis back yard and there were ruts where we stood and ran to prove it. Every kid in the neighborhood showed up, and the two best / oldest players were always the respective captains. We tossed a bat and played the hand-hold game to choose first, and then each captain chose the best available kid until everyone was chosen. You get to pick: so choose the best you can get.
