  8. PFAA Brine Discussion Conclusion The Mt. Belvieu Operations is driven by brine. a. There is adequate product storage for the foreseeable future. b. There is adequate connectivity between facilities. c. The limiting factors for product storage are brine system related. d. Permitting for pits and disposal wells are increasingly difficult. e. Brine pit construction cost have increased significantly due to regulations and liner cost. Future Market Expectations suggest continued growth. a.The need for LPG storage in the Gulf Coast will continue to increase. b. Competing new products for the storage coupled with changing market conditions could increase demand for storage. c. Mt. Belvieu will continue to be the major hub for LPG’s in the US.
