WeldFit Push-in Fittings • For use with WeldTube to protect against damage from weld spatter. • Easy tube insertion and removal • Tube support for retention under high loads • Recessed collet to prevent exposure of inner tube under side loads • Corrosion resistant nickel plated • Sizes G1/8, G1/4, G3/8, G1/2 • Inner tube 6, 8, 10, 12mm o/d • For compressed air or water

  5. 900 Tube preparation • Using a standard tube cutter, cut the complete tube end square at one of the markers. • Ensure that the tube end is clean and free from surface damage

  6. Tube preparation • To prevent damage to the inner tube. Use the special stripping tool to cut the outer cover at the next marker

  7. Tube preparation • Push open the tube grip • Insert the cut to length tube and line up the next marker with the blade • Close the tube grip and rotate the stripper around the circumference of the tube

  10. Tube preparation • Next push the blade twist button, this turns the blade 900 • Hold the button down and pull the stripper sideways to score the tube to the end • Peal off the outer covering

  15. Tube assembly • Push the tube firmly into the collet over the tube support, through the ‘O’ ring and down to the tube stop. • Pull back on the tube to reinforce the collet teeth gripping action • The pressure can then be applied

  21. Tube removal • Turn off and exhaust the pressure • To remove the tube, push the collet in firmly and hold it there. • Pull the tube out and release the collet
