Welcome to my journey as a 6th-grade Earth Science teacher at William James Middle School in Statesboro, Georgia. With over two decades of teaching experience, including being named Teacher of the Year in 2011, I utilize blogging as a vital tool for communication and engagement with my 105 students. This platform allows me to share homework assignments, current events, and educational resources, fostering student involvement and support from parents.   3. About Me I teach 6th grade Earth Science at William James Middle School in Statesboro, Georgia. I teach 105 students during four 70 minute classes. I have been teaching at WJMS since 2000. I was named TOTY for 2011.

  7. What I Use • Wordpress • Very easy • Can add pictures, videos and text with just a few clicks • Can tag posts so that if someone searches, only the ones related to the search are visible
