LURNZ Introduction & upcoming beta-2 release

The LURNZ model, developed by the Motu Environment team, simulates four land uses dynamically and spatially within the context of rural New Zealand. This partial equilibrium model analyzes the implications of climate policy on land use decisions. The initial beta release was in February 2011, and the upcoming Beta-2 release will replace previous versions. It will be available for download via FTP soon, as data availability agreements are being finalized. We encourage feedback and collaboration from users to improve the model.
