Purpose The project is aimed at consolidating and improving the results of the VET Reform • Supporting the development of competence-oriented VET qualifications and curricula based on the needs of economy and learners themselves, and harmonised with the CROQF; • Providing access to best-practice examples and enabling VET specialists, practitioners and stakeholders to use them for the improvement of the Croatian VET system. Results • Methodology for the VET qualification / curriculum development , mechanisms for ensuring regular revisions developed • Capacity building resources for an efficient dissemination of methodology, knowledge and skills of the AVET staff & practitioners enhanced, capacity building methodology is tested , dissemination of methodology • Effective co-ordination mechanisms for development of occupational standards, qualifications & curricula are established METHODOLOGY Results HUMAN CAPACITY COORDINATION MECHANISM

Inception Phase - Findings Development of qualifications in cooperation of AVET and SCs AVET initiated closed cooperation with the newly established SCs the pilot development of 13 VET curricula based on newly elaborated occupational standards and qualifications in. WG under the guidance of Advisors of AVET are established. Development of qualifications in the framework of CROQF For Implementation of the CROQF 26 WG are being established under the OT of CROQF. Initial VET qualification play an important role in each qualification System and must fit in into the NQF.

Inception Phase - Adjustments • Development of a selection approach for labour market driven qualification together with all sector councils • Staged approach to the development of qualifications and VET curricula • Limitation of Coordinators for the development WG to 13 (one for each sector and 2 sector WG)

  12. Reformulation of Results The planned results for the whole project remain the same ones: • The SCs are further strengthened to contribute efficiently to the development of VET qualifications and curricula. • Relevant knowledge and skills for the management of qualification and curriculum development and for dissemination are enhanced. • Using the improved methodology the development of 26 VET Curricula in 13 sectors is supported. An action plan for the transition to a large-scale modernization of VET qualifications/curricula is drafted.
