Welcome to Build18, a week-long student-run gadgeting and hacking competition at CMU! Form teams of 2-4 (with at least one ECE major) and brainstorm project ideas. Stay within budget (~$250) and make sure your ideas are safe and legal. Join tutorials on essential skills, submit project proposals, and receive expert feedback. Participate in exciting tech talks, and showcase your creations on Demo Day. Don't miss the chance to innovate, collaborate, and have fun!

Overview • Student run, week long gadgeting/hacking competition • Form teams of 2-4 students (at least one ECE major) • Come up with a project idea • If your project can hurt others, don’t build it! • If your project is not legal, don’t build it! • If your project may be frowned upon by Andrew Carnegie, CMU administration, or other students, don’t build it! • Develop parts list • On a budget (~$250 in the past)
