The muttaburrasaurus is herbivorous dinosaur that lived in the Cretaceous period where dinosaurs such as the Pterosaurs and Archosaurs. It lived 120 million years ago and was 7 to 9 metres tall. It’s scientific name is Langdoni.
The Muttaburrasaurus was found near the town, Muttaburra in Queensland in 1963 by a person named Mr Langdon. That may have been why it was called the Muttaburrasaurus and its scientific name Langdoni.
The muttaburrasaurus lived in Queensland because of the hot conditions needed for them to live in. It had a connection with the ancient land as it lived millions of years ago when the land was ancient.
