TMA [UK] Context“Global Presence, Local Expertise, Cross Border Network” • The TMA began in 1988 in the USA and now boasts an international membership of nearly 7000. • It is the established and global voice of turnaround focused on early intervention and collaborative rescue. • TMA [UK] is one of a number of national chapters providing local knowledge and expertise as well as the contacts to enable cross border working. • Established in 2000 TMA[UK] is now a self sufficient operation with nearly 170 members. • This document outlines what we stand for as an industry association and how we intend to improve our service to members and raise our profile in the corporate recovery sector

TMA [UK] Priority Actions“Better Contact, Wider Profile, Increased Presence” We will - • Appoint a board director with portfolio for strategy to ensure the co-ordination and delivery of key initiatives. • Develop the range and quality of our regional meetings, interactive workshops, social events and the national conference in alignment with our principles and values • Introduce and extend website or e-enabled benefits including information articles, good practise guides and a quarterly TMA [UK] Newsletter • Continue the visual development of the TMA [UK] identity through business documentation and promotional material • Raise awareness of the TMA [UK] professional standards & Code of Ethics and endorse the development of the ACTP qualification programme. • Contribute to policy debates and developments that affect the corporate recovery industry
