  10. Orientation to GDP Production Jobs: Proofreading, Editing: You must edit your document until there are no typographical errors. To correct errors in a job, return to the Lesson menu, reselect the document, click the Edit button to reopen the document, correct your errors, and save the job. [Caution: clicking the Create button a second time will erase all previous work!]

  11. Orientation to GDP Production Jobs: Formatting All documents submitted for evaluation must be typed in a correct format. After all typographical errors have been corrected, save your work to the Portfolio so that it can be evaluated by your instructor. Your instructor will then determine if you have used the correct format for the job. If the format is correct; and if you have corrected all typographical errors, you will receive a grade of “A” for that assignment.

  12. Orientation to GDP Typing Technique You must use the correct fingers on all the keys and be able to type by touch (without looking) to pass keyboarding. You DO NOT need to type fast or be concerned with a few errors when technique is being evaluated. You DO need to type with acceptable technique on all areas indicated on the Keyboarding Technique form.
