  2. Definition: The domain of a function is the set of all input values (x-values) that satisfy the functions restrictions. Most often, the domain is all real numbers. However, in a real-world problem we need to consider what is reasonable for the context of the problem.

  4. Pole vault Video Link Ex. 2: If the pole vault in the video is modeled by a quadratic equation, where x represents the time in seconds and y represents the height of the pole vaulter, what is the reasonable domain for the function?
