Upcoming School Events & Important Classroom Updates for March 2014

Join us for exciting school events throughout March! Family Game Night kicks off on March 4 from 5:30-6:45 PM, followed by the Family Book Club on March 6 from 4-5 PM. Don't miss the 5th Grade Farewell Meeting on March 11 and Spring Pictures on March 13. PTC Shirt Sales begin March 10 and end on March 14. Remember, school will dismiss early on March 21, and we look forward to Spring Break from March 31 to April 7. Please send in tissues if possible. Thank you for your support!

ELA: -Demonstrate understanding of figurative language, word relationships, and nuances in word meanings. Interpret figurative language, including similes and metaphors, in context. Recognize and explain the meaning of common idioms, adages, and proverbs.
