TGB Standards Workgroups Jason Salts, Facilitator January 2009 Rough Time Line Remarks Current Projects Status Centralized Service Directory Standard E-Mail Service Standard Data Backup Standard Shared Infrastructure Usage Standard Webpage Standard Data Center Standard • Standards Projects • Awaiting JCIO input on Common Directory and Infrastructure Usage • Two standards, Data Backup and Email Systems have been reviewed by the JCIO. • The JCIO has sent the E-mail Systems Standard back to the team to discuss the Model Three language proposed by the DOT CIO. Results are forthcoming. • Awaiting the CIO Council input on the Data Backup Standard. • The web page workgroup is forming and the deadline for team member contributions is January 7th. IDED, ED, DOT, DPD, and Legislature have contributed. • A standards update was sent to all CIOs showing the status of each standard under revision. • Question, do you want to initiate other teams to commence revision of additional standards as draft standards move through the process? Risks • Low Participation by team members. • Locating information about Infrastructure, Programs, and • Stakeholders • Over allocated Resources
