How do we achieve ‘Alignment’? THE BRIDGE MODEL Set your outcome – create a desired situation Resolve your current conflicts in your present situation Manage the change
Stepping Up – Desire Situation Ask for the goal: Where do you see the goal taking place, what resources do you have? What do you see yourself doing? What skills are you using? What beliefs do you have about it? Why is it important to you? How does this fit with who you are?
Stepping Down – Finding Misalignment Ask for the goal: Does it fit with who you are? What do you believe might get in your way? What skills don’t you have to achieve it? What do you do that gets in your way? What resources don’t you have?
Resolving the Misalignment Find the positive intention for the aspect of misalignment. Choose a different way for satisfying the intention. Decide on the most effective actions to take.
