A Fly on the Wall: Quick-Write • Imagine it is now the end of the spring semester. • What do you want our little “fly friend” to say about you in 18 weeks? • Our goal should always be improvement; no one is perfect; we can ALL become better. • How will YOU be a better YOU this semester in English? • Write about specific “things” this fly would have to say about you in English last semester. • Pretend he had a great view of your desk; what did he see and hear? • How would he characterize you as a student in English?
