There is a checklist that is used to assess this Nominations that satisfy the regulations are forwarded to the TSSC A PPAL of nominations are given to the minister Follows a strategic approach; Conservation theme, level of threat etc. An invitation to nominate is extended by the minister each year Nomination: Any person may nominate Minister decides on the FPAL Finalised Priority assessment List All of this info is placed on the DSEWPac Website This advise is given to the minister Minister notifies the nominator After FPAL assessment period begins Public and expert comments are assessed Minister decides to list the species or not After public consultation the TSSC considers if it eligible for listing and in which category

No Frivolous nominations may be rejected Minister decides if nomination meets regulations Nominations given to the AHC SNRP, ANP May be a theme must check that it isnt listed Public nominations invited AHC prepares a priority assessment list for consideration list is then approved by the minister this is what the AHC works on for the next 12 months public comment is invited AHC also consults with land owners Minister notifies the nominator and land owners also advised Final assessment list is placed on the internet Minister considers the assessment report and comments to decide to list the place or not AHC gives and assessment report to the minister
