Core Courses CASIS 671 Africa: Strategic Environment CASIS 672 Africa: Intelligence and National Security Strategy CASIS 673 Africa: Regional Conflicts CASIS 674 Africa: Peacekeeping and Peace Enforcement • This graduate certificate prepares students to critically identify, analyze the factors the factors that influence and constrain policy choices, and comprehend the significance of how the intelligence community utilizes key intelligence indicators to predict, forecast and develop warning trends in Africa. • The courses examine the role that strategic intelligence plays in understanding and analyzing the impact of globalization, U.S. national security policies, regional conflict, and peacekeeping missions have on the both the African people and the African continent. • Students can enter the program at anytime – the courses are not sequential.
