  1. Upper Rissington Roads Past and Present

  2. Proposals from the residents of Bleinhem – Wellington and Lancaster Rd • Close Wellington Road where it meets Longmore Avenue. • Keep Wellington Road open where it joins the Main Road (as a consequence the link from the new site will not be required).

Longmore – Wellington Rd Proposal • Close Wellington Road where it meets Longmore Avenue. • Keep the existing access open to the Main Road open • Why: Reduce traffic down Wellington Road. • Longmore was the original link between the Officers Mess and what is to become the new estate. • Consequently it should be reactivated and close Wellington Road where it joins what was Longmore Ave. • Wellington Road then becomes a Cul-de-Sac. • The above has been requested by the majority of resident's in Bleinhem – Lancaster and Wellington

  4. 1999 - Background At this point the old Longmore becomes Wellington Rd when the site was developed. Smith Barry Road Longmore Ave “New” Wellington Road

  5. 2012 – Proposal Wellington Road closes here and Longmore reactivated as per the original RAF station. Wellington Road access to remain. New roundabout is equally as close to this access – no argument to close Wellington. Longmore Ave To remain as a footpath.
