RCS Homework Expectations Kindergarten Activity Format: Worksheet Days assigned: Monday – Thursday (no HW on Friday) Subject: Math or ELA Ripley Scholar Quality Time: 15 minutes All activities are designed to take no more than 15 minutes. If your child is having difficulty completing the homework or if the HW is taking longer than 15 minutes, please write a note on the HW for your child’s teacher. Reading Requirement: Please read with your child each night. Beginning in November “Book Bags” with a reading log will be sent home with each child. Children are expected to read the book and return the bag the next day. **Children attending the RCS After School Program will complete HW at school. The reading requirement will need to be completed at home.**
