Background • In 2007 the Rochester Catholic Schools (RCS) Council recommended executing a parent satisfaction survey • A follow up to the 2006-2007 school year survey • Using a subset of questions from the previous year • Sent out in January 2008 to all RCS families • This presentation is the report from the 2007-2008 school year survey • Demographics • Survey question results • Write-in comment summary

  3. Demographics: Who took the Survey? • 525 families • Almost 50% of RCS families, including pre-school • A fantastic response rate

  4. Who Took the Survey? -- Schools Attended • Percentage of the sample having children at a particular school • Combinations of schools • 22% of the sample have children in more than one school

  5. Who Took the Survey? -- Grade Levels • Percentage of the sample having children at a particular grade level • Combinations of grade level • 40% of respondents have children in multiple grade levels

  9. Satisfaction With Quality of Education • Preschool satisfaction is at 100%K-12 satisfaction is at 90% Q1. Overall, how satisfied are you with the quality of education your child/children is/are receiving in the Rochester Catholic Schools?
