  2. Nutria • The Nutria is a semi aquatic rodent with webbed hind feet. • They live by bodies of water and dig their burrow near the water. • They have red outer fur and soft grey inner fur.

  3. Electric Eel • The Electric Eel is a long snake like fish that can generate electricity from its organ. • It can produce a 600 volt electric shock! • It can’t kill a human with just one shock but it can with many shocks.

  4. Golden Lion Tamarin • The Golden Lion Tamarin is a small mammal with a mane like a lion. • They are arboreal which means they live in trees. • They are covered with long gold colored fur.

  5. Hatchetfish • A Hatchetfish is a small odd looking fish. • There are many different kinds of Hatchetfish but the most common are the Marbled and the silver.

  6. Umbrellabird • The Umbrellabird lives in South Americas Rainforests. • It eats a diet of fruits and small animals. • It has a heavy wide bill and a big head.

  7. Piranha • The piranha is a meat eating fresh water fish. • There colors range from yellow to black. • They have a large lower jaw and many razor sharp teeth.

  8. Three-Toed Sloth • The Three- Toed Sloth is a slow moving nocturnal animal. • It spends its whole life hanging upside down from trees. • They have very thick brown fur.
