Society… • Bahamians usually have relationships through the interaction of school and date for 3-4 years before deciding to marry. • Foods traditionally eaten in The Bahamas:" For breakfast, Bahamians often eat grits with a main dish of fish, corned beef, or sausage. Lunch and dinner are typically heavy meals consisting of steamed or fried meat served with peas n' rice (rice combined with pigeon peas, a type of bean), coleslaw, potato salad, or baked macaroni and cheese.”

Issues Facing the Bahamas • Illicit drugs:transshipment point for cocaine and marijuana bound for US and Europe; offshore financial center .Bahamians probably turn to illegal drug use because of lack of money or a source of income and a lack of using many resources provided to them by their country. • Ways to possibly solve the Bahamans Drug Problem: Create a legal way to earn money through a different source of income: such as Starting their own business or going back to school to learn a different trade and using the reliable resources their country does have.

Bodies of water- The golf of Mexico and the North Atlantic ocean Description of climate- Most of the Bahamas has sunshine approximately 310 days per year averaging 8 hours a day usually In the summer and less in the winter. The Bahamas also has a maritime climate which means that it’s surrounded by water which means it’s climate depends on the sea. The Bahamas doesn’t experience extremes of temperatures like not hot, hot but just right. Natural resources- Salt, aragonite, timber, arableland, wet lands, fresh water, fruit crops, live stock, tourism.
