  5. 63% of Top 24 Occupations = Low SKA

  6. Why? • Nearly 50% Reduction In Manufacturing Jobs • Employability and Employee Retention Factor • An Undeveloped Workforce/ Low SKA

  7. 21% of Top 24 Occupations = Average/ Slightly Above Average

  8. 13% of Top 24 Occupations = High SKA

  9. What’s Next • Redefine Average • Employ College Graduates • Partner with local educational institutions to educate current employees, graduate school model • Design more rigorous training during initial 6 months on the job that includes employability training

Summary • 50% decline in high paying manufacturing industry jobs • Primary occupations are low income 30K below = Low SKA = Low advancement possibility = Low Education Requirements • UAPB/SEARK offer degrees for a skilled workforce, yet noticeable job openings remain and no degree completions in these positions
