  2. Wilbert-Champagne-Wells (WCW) • The Wilbert-Champagne-Wells Option (WCW) is the construction of a new 230 kV line from Wilbert to Champagne to Wells at an estimated cost of $142.1 million. The Acadiana Improvement Project costs are an estimated $200 million. Underlying upgrades to support a transfer of at least 250 MW out of Southeast Louisiana to either WOTAB or Southern Company would include: • Rayburn-Jasper • Mossville-Nelson • Tezcuco-Waterford • Cajun-Wilbert • at an estimated cost of $57.8 million, bringing the total costs to $400 million. With this set of upgrades, it is estimated that approximately 251 MW of transfer capability would be created between Southeast Louisiana area and either WOTAB or Southern Company. The estimated congestion cost savings is $230 million annually, with a simple payback period of 1.74 years.

  4. Audubon-Richard (AR) • The Audubon-Richard Option (AR) is the construction of a new 230 kV line from Audubon to Richard at an estimated cost of $154.4 million. The Acadiana Improvement Project costs are an estimated $200 million. Underlying upgrades to support a transfer of at least 250 MW out of Southeast Louisiana to either WOTAB or Southern Company would include: • Rayburn-Jasper • Mossville-Nelson • Tezcuco-Waterford • at an estimated cost of $28.4 million, bringing the total costs to $382.8 million. With this set of upgrades, it is estimated that approximately 291 MW of transfer capability would be created between Southeast Louisiana area and either WOTAB or Southern Company. The estimated congestion cost savings is $232.3 million annually, with a simple payback period of 1.65 years.

  6. Wilbert-Moril (WM) • The Wilbert-Moril Option (WM) is the construction of a new 230 kV line from Wilbert to Moril at an estimated cost of $124.5 million. The Acadiana Improvement Project costs are an estimated $200 million. Underlying upgrades to support a transfer of at least 250 MW out of Southeast Louisiana to either WOTAB or Southern Company would include: • Rayburn-Jasper • Mossville-Nelson • Tezcuco-Waterford • at an estimated cost of $28.4 million, bringing the total costs to $352.9 million. With this set of upgrades, it is estimated that approximately 275 MW of transfer capability would be created between Southeast Louisiana area and either WOTAB or Southern Company. The estimated congestion cost savings is $234.7 million annually, with a simple payback period of 1.5 years.
