One way to Use Semi-Colon Connectors • Clause ; connector, clause. • She didn’t study; therefore, she failed the test. • I feel very sick; however, I’m going to work. • My sister loves all sports; on the other hand, I love music. • Bekir is a great athlete; similarly, he is an excellent student.

  5. BE CAREFUL! Don’t use too many semi-colons. More than 2 or 3 on a page might look funny.
