Fingerprints are a great way to begin solving a crime because no two people have the same fingerprints.
There are different ways to lift a fingerprint here are a few : • Dusting :To dust for prints, all you need is a brush, powder, tape and a fingerprint card. It is a cheap and easy method favored by most people. • Superglue fuming method :The person conducting the experiment squirts a small pool of superglue into the chamber, generally onto a hot plate. The glue is then heated to about 212 degrees Fahrenheit, which causes it to vaporize and cling to the fingerprint, allowing the print to be transferred to any surface pressed against it.
Interesting facts about fingerprints • Adermatoglyphiais a rare medical condition which causes a person to have no fingerprints. It is also known as "immigration delay disease". There are only four known extended families worldwide which are affected by this condition. • Koalas are the only ones except for humans who have fingerprints that they can be identified by.
