Registering for Electives Portal opens Feb. 15and closes Mar. 2to register for electives. Make sure parents have a portal password or use yours from school. The school will put in your core classes. You just select your electives. Be SURE you select several alternates.
Waivers and Core classes Teachers recommend honors level Teachers recommend AP Human Geo. If you would like to change a core class, completea waiver onthe HS website by April 13th. It typically gets changed.
Driver's Ed. Must pick as an elective. It is only a semester course, so you must select another semester course to go with it: World Geography, etc. $100.00 made out to NFHS is due to Sandra Sutton by Mar. 25th.

Career Pathway Day 20 high-schoolerswill speak with you on Thur. the 23rd of Feb. 12 to 14areas speaking for 8 minutes. Longer in the last session. Ask intelligent, helpful questions. This is your only chance to hear the info. from other students.
Know your HS counselor The high school counselors are assigned students alphabetically.. The letters change every year, so find out whom you have for next year. It shouldbe listed in the registration packet coming on the 15th.
