  2. I welcome more organisations focusing on the development of the Chinese automotive industry into China. I believe Automotive Manufacturer magazine will be a valuable contribution to the further development of China 's automotive industry. Han Lei, Deputy Secretary General of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) of China Automotive Manufacturer is published quarterly by Cavendish Group International and addresses the technical challenges facing China’s developing automotive industry. It has generated an unprecedented level of “opt-in” subscribers since it’s launch in 2004, audited by the BPA. Already one of the world’s largest markets for new vehicles, China’s car industry continues to attract massive inbound investment as OEMs seek to increase market share amidst concerns of overcapacity. Manufacturers face the competing pressures of cutting costs whilst improving the quality of technology and styling to meet the demands of an increasingly sophisticated Chinese consumer, as well as develop vehicles for export markets. Exclusive Publishing License Automotive Manufacturer is the only journal in it’s field legally sending information into China. The magazine has been granted the Economic Information Agency’s (EIA) unique and official “Kan Hao” license which allows us to sell subscriptions in China. A report published by media analyst Dresdner Kleinwort titled “Equity research on MidCap Publishers in the UK” has singled out Cavendish Group as a successful publisher to emerging markets using a controlled circulation method (Link to Excerpt from Dresdner Kleinwort Report on Cavendish publishing activities in China). Automotive Manufacturer is published quarterly in both Chinese and English in a format that combines attractive design with the very highest production standards. As the only Government endorsed foreign journal in this sector, it is poised to unlock new opportunities for your company throughout China.

The Society of Automotive Engineers China (SAE CHINA) is the Chinese arm of SAE international, a non-profit educational and scientific organisation dedicated to engineering knowledge dissemination and technical training. The society has more than 84,000 members in 97 countries and supports automotive engineering training programmes throughout China - such as the DTI-SAE Global Knowledge Centre - which are transforming China into an international automotive manufacturing force. The Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) is specifically responsible for the formulation and implementation of policy including the coordination and regulation of foreign economic cooperation and investment. It is the awarding body for Automotive Manufacturer’s“kan-hou” licence. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) is the largest and most important institution for thepromotion of international trade in China.
