  2. The Geography Of Switzerland • Switzerland Alps cover half of the country • They have many lakes • They also have large flat green valleys The geography of Switzerland affects their daily life because there is not enough land to build on.

The Climate Of Switzerland • The daily summer temperatures are 77 degrees F • The winter temperatures are 27 - 37 degrees F • Winters are long and very snowy To describe the climates of Switzerland in winter it is cold, cloudy, and rainy. In the summer it is cool to warm, humid with occasional showers. It does not affect the people of Switzerland because it does not stop them from doing anything.

  4. Natural Resources Of Switzerland Waterpower Minerals Timber Salt They import raw material from other countries because of the lack of natural resources.

  5. THE FOOD OF SWITZERLAND!!!!! • Meat, potatoes, and milk products are the main foods • Breakfast is usually light and they eat fresh breads, cheese, and coffee. • Lunch usually consists of a main dish with meat, some form of potatoes, and a salad.

  6. GESTURES OF SWITZERLAND!!!!!! • Men and Women both greet others with a hand shake • Close friends will exchange three kisses on the cheeks • German greetings used are “Guten Tag” and “Guten Morgen” • French greeting used are “Bonjour” and “Chao”

  7. THE LANGUAGES OF SWITZERLAND! German French Italian Romanian

  8. THE RELIGION • Half of Swiss people are Roman Catholic • The rest belong to various other Christian churches, mostly Protestant.
