Eco friendly (designed to be recycled) • Printers – Buy new or Repair • Wireless -Meraki • Equipment manipulation – Teachers/Students • New Technology Plan (1 Year) • Internet Safety Curriculum for this funding year. • Technology Assessments

  3. Star Chart ***Few Teachers left on all campuses left to complete. The Teacher STaR Chart may be used to: • Assist teachers in determining professional development needs based on a current educational technology profile. • Provide data that feeds into the Texas Campus STaR Chart so that more accurate school information is gained and documented. • Determine funding priorities based on teacher and classroom needs. • Provide data that can support the need for grants or other resources. • Help conceptualize the campus or district vision of technology.

  4. New Business Technology need and concerns??? • Grant Research (In line with the 5 year plan) Recommendation: On a yearly basis, align the technology plan with the existing 5 year plan in order to prevent distorted goals and deviating from original plan.

  5. New Business • Receiving 16 new Dell computers for Lab, courtesy of Gear Up grant. ***Discuss the relocation of lab to it’s previous location. Middle School Computer Labs

  6. New Business In an effort to elevate cost and provide a safer and functional classroom, we plan do away with the original idea of purchasing cable protectors and to perform a cost analyses on implementing new ceiling mounted hardware for existing projectors. What it entails: • Running VGA cables • USB solution • Projector mounting kits. Pilot: Ceiling mounted projectors
