  3. THREE G’S FOR 2014 • Get Ready - become aware, be willing • Get Set – prepare, understand, get trained • Go – take action, move, run

  4. As Seen in Exodus • Get Ready - after 430 years Ex 3:7,9 people groaning and ready for deliverance • Get Set – Ex 12:1-3, 11, 21, 24 understanding, instructions • Go – Ex 12:33-37

  5. As Seen in Joshua • Joshua was Moses aide Ex 24:13 • Get Ready – after forty years Josh 1:2 ready and willing • Get Set – Josh 3:1-4 understand and prepare • Go – Josh 3:13, 17

  6. As Jesus with Disciples • Get Ready – He called willing disciples Mark 3:14, Matt 4:18 • Get set - Mark 4:2 He Taught them, they got prepared • Go – Luke 10:1 He sent them out, Matt 28:19 Go therefore

  7. In the New Testament • Get Ready • Matt 11:14 – if you are willing, he who has ears • Matt 22:3, 23:37 – invited but they refused

  8. In the New Testament • Get Set • Luke 9:62 – hand to the plough • Luke 14:28,31 – consider the cost • Heb 10:25, 35 – together, gain confidence

  9. In the New Testament • Go • 1 Cor 9:22, 26 – with clarity and discipline • Phil 2:16 – not run in vain • Heb 12:1-2 • throw off any hindrance • run with perseverance • fix our eyes on Jesus
