Trends in College Pricing

This report analyzes the average estimated undergraduate budgets and published charges for undergraduates by type, control of institution, Carnegie Classification, and more. It also examines the distribution of full-time undergraduates at four-year institutions by tuition and fees, the increase in tuition and fees, and inflation-adjusted prices over the years. Additionally, it explores the net price and net price by income group at public, private, and for-profit institutions. The report also includes data on the annual percentage changes in state tax appropriations and tuition and fees at public four-year institutions.
